The Working Genius
Team Workshop.
For teams carrying more than they can sustain, with no map for how the genius fits together.
The problem
Your team isn't broken.
It's just working in the wrong places
The team is working hard. The talent is there. But the work isn’t landing where it should, the wrong people are doing the wrong things, and everyone feels it.
The team knows something is off. They don’t always know it’s this
the solution
A shared map. A common language.
Real forward motion.
Grounded in Patrick Lencioni’s Working Genius framework, the workshop gives your team the map they’ve been working without. Each person’s genius profile, the team’s collective picture, and how to work together sustainably.
By the end of one day, the team has shared language, a real understanding of where each person fits, and practices to bring back on Monday.
what teams leave with
Six capabilities.
Applied to the team's real work.
o1
Know your genius
o2
Map the team
See the team’s collective genius map. Where the strengths cluster, where the gaps sit, and what the team does with each.
o3
Partner on purpose
Learn who to partner with for which type of work, and why some pairings move things forward while others don’t.
o4
Redistribute the work
Spot where genius is being wasted or frustration demanded, and reassign so more time is spent in genius zones.
o5
Name the friction
Understand why the team conflicts. Drop the judgment about how each person works, and use shared language to move through it.
o6
Build the practice
Leave with specific commitments. How the team will work differently starting Monday.
the transformation
Overwhelmed team working hard in the wrong places
Aligned team working sustainably in their genius zones
The team stops apologizing for what drains them and starts contributing what only they can. Old friction begins to make sense. Conflicts become useful because the team has shared language for them. Burnout risk drops. Delivery gets faster. The work, finally, feels like it fits.
how it works
A four-step design,
tailored to your team.
01 - intake
A short survey and a discovery call with the leader. We map the pain, the context, and what the team needs to shift.
02 - assessment
Every team member completes the assessment before we start. We walk in with everyone’s profile in hand.
03 - workshop
A full-day session where the team works through their individual and collective maps, applied to their actual work.
04 - commitments
The team leaves with specific commitments. How they’ll partner, redistribute work, and use their genius map week to week.
what teams say
Real Teams.
Real Language.
Average likelihood to recommend: 9.7 / 10
“We now have shared language for how we work as a team. That alone has been genuinely helpful. We can name what’s happening between us in a way we couldn’t before.”
— Director of Change Management
“Learning everyone’s Working Genius helped me understand why people responded to me the way they did. So much of what felt like friction now makes sense.”
— Consultant, People and Culture
“Understanding how our team works together, and how we can adapt to fill the gaps, has changed how we operate.”
— Manager, Learning & Development
“My commitment is to work more transparently when things are outside my genius, rather than trying to fake it. That’s a real shift for me.”
— Manager, Learning & Development
“We become fully human when we become more than human, when we let God bring us beyond ourselves in order to attain the fullest truth of our being.”
